Prophetic Awakening

A Growing Hunger

Hundreds of hungry believers gathered at CTF Toronto on November 20th to the 23rd for the Prophetic Awakening conference. They came internationally from as far as Finland and within Canada from as far as Quebec and Winnipeg. Incredible testimonies of transformation, encounters with God and an uncapping of walking in prophetic revelation were pouring in. In the words of one man, "I will never be the same again."

That man gave his life to Jesus before he walked out of the church that day
The level of hunger for the supernatural in the world is demonstrated by those seeking fortune tellers, psychics, horoscopes and palm readers. However, the truth is, the world isn't beating down the doors of the church for prophetic revelation at this point. Once, while in the House of Prayer, I was approached by someone who wandered into the church building. His question startled me, "Is this where you can get dreams interpreted?" "Ah, yes," I said. The man preceded to give me a synopsis of a recurring dream he had to which the Lord immediately gave me an interpretation. That man gave his life to Jesus before he walked out of the church that day. "That's the way it should be," I thought. Sadly, that kind of seeking of those not from a Christian inclination to come to church for prophetic revelation is rare. However, the day is coming when political leaders, business directors and the everyday citizen will turn to believers in Jesus for accurate prophetic, supernatural insight and power.
There is more, much more, dear people of God, that is available for us to access of prophetic revelation.

The Call to Prophecy

Indeed we have not yet seen the full measure of fulfillment of the words of Acts 2: 17-21 repeated from Joel 2:
'And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,
That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
 Your young men shall see visions,
Your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and on My maid servants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days;
 And they shall prophesy. I will show wonders in heaven above,
And signs in the earth beneath:
Blood and fire and vapour of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness,
 And the moon into blood,
Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass
 that whoever calls on the name of the Lord
 shall be saved. There is more, much more, dear people of God, that is available for us to access of prophetic revelation.
Forty percent of the entire Bible is prophecy - dreams, visions, encounters. Three hundred Old Testament prophecies and references to Jesus' first coming all came to pass. Dr. David Jeremiah states that the Bible references Jesus' Second Coming 1,845 times. One hundred and fifty chapters of the Bible speak of His Second Coming. God highly values prophesy and wants His people operating in this gift.
I Cor. 14:1 states we are to desire spiritual gifts - especially prophesy. The Greek word for desire here is 'zeloo' which is an intense word meaning to be zealous for, burn with desire and pursue ardently or intensely.
conference attendees reported amazing encounters in restaurants at lunch, as they prophesied and encouraged waitresses and those they met on the street.
Those attending this Prophetic Awakening conference were desiring more. In fact, after Stacey Campbell preached a message on taking the prophetic out on the streets, numerous conference attendees reported amazing encounters in restaurants at lunch, as they prophesied and encouraged waitresses and those they met on the street.
May we believers hear the voice of our beloved Bridegroom as our hearts awaken in love for Him (Song of Solomon 5:6). Additionally, may we take this precious gift and bring the life of Jesus' words to those around us (John 6:63).
Let's endeavour to live a prophetic lifestyle.
Until He Comes!
